REFLECTION PAPER

1. What is AI? What are its advantages?

A broad area of computer science called artificial intelligence (AI) focuses on creating intelligent
machines that can carry out tasks that traditionally require human intelligence. Automated interfaces
for speech recognition, decision-making, and language translation are a few examples of AI
applications.

2. What are some of the possible uses of AI in the Medical or Health Science and Diagnosis?

By transcribing notes, entering and arranging patient data onto portals, and diagnosing patients, AI
systems can save up the time of busy doctors and perhaps act as a second opinion for them. Patients
can also benefit from the availability of prescription medicine alternatives and follow-up care thanks to
artificially intelligent systems. In addition, AI can diagnose patients remotely, expanding access to
healthcare outside of the world's major cities and into more rural areas. Despite the bright and optimistic
future of AI in healthcare, there is still much work to be done.

3. Can AI be used in the Nursing field? What can you suggest as the possible ways to utilize AI
in Nursing profession?

Yes! Ai can be used in the Nursing field. Although artificial intelligence (AI) has been used in research
for many years, it is only recently that it has been used in everyday life. When nurses use AI, such as
clinical decision tools, they can swiftly evaluate massive volumes of data to identify hazards, offer
interventions, and streamline workflow. The nursing staff can utilize AI and informatics to identify
patients who are more likely to develop serious diseases and conduct early preventative action.
Automatic alerts inform healthcare professionals of potential risks like a patient's allergy or dangerous
drug interactions, which reduces the likelihood of medical errors.
