January 1. : New Year’s eve

This is the first day and the first holiday in the year. We usually happy in this
day and sometimes we make resolutions for the year.

This day is the 47th before Easter. This holiday is actually three day long, but
we celebrate it for only one day. In this one day, we put on costumes and masks
and sometimes, pepole procession and shows his costume for everyone.
February 14. : Valentine's day
This is the day of lovers. We usually buy flowers for our girlfriend and we have
a dinner with them usually. And the decorations give us the perfect vibe. There
are red and white hearts everywhere.
March 8. : Women’s day
On this day, we usually treat women by bringing them flowers or giving them
gifts .
March 15. : the celebration of the 1848 revolution and war of indepe
This is the first national holiday. Back in 75 years in this day, the hungarians
fight againts the habsburg empire because of the freedom. And the Hungarians
won! unfortunately, Hungary did not become independent, but it came closer.

This is one of the oldest holiday. we remember Jesus Christ, who was crucified
2000 years ago and resurrected 3 days later.

In this day, The God he sent the holy spirit to his disciples. Then they went out
into the streets and told people about God. That's when the first congregation
was founded. This is what we remember on this day.

In this day. we usually give flowers, and gifts to our mom. They give us gifts
and love all year, so we try to give something back in this day.

The parents usually buy presents for their kids in this day. This day is for the
kids.
August 20. : the celebration of the state founding, Saint Stephen's Day,
The Feast of New Bread
3 holidays in one day. At august 20 we remember Saint Stephen, who was the
first king af hungary, we remember at the Hungarian state founding, and also we
remember the new bread. This day is a big holiday in hungary. Every year, a
huge fireworks can be seen in Budapest. And, of course, a lot of entertaining,
great programs.
October 31. : Haloween
In this day, the pepole wear scary costumes and „scare” each other. And also
they have big parties in this day.
November 2. : All Souls' Day
This is one of the saddest holidays in the year. On this day, everyone remembers
the family members of the deceased. we usually place flowers on their graves
and light candles over them.
December 6. : Santa Claus
At 6 of December, we get gits for each other because it’s Santa Claus. We
remember remember St. Michael, who give gifts for poor kids before christmas.
December 24-26. : Christmas
This is one of the biggest holidays in the year. On this day, we celebrate Jesus
Christ, who was born more than 2000 years ago. And just as God gave us Jesus,
we also give gifts to each other. This is the best holiday I think.
Birthdays
This is the day, when we was born. We usually get presents in this day, We have
a great time with our friends and family. And we get one year older.
