My favorite Mathematician is Pythagoras. His full name is Pythagoras of Samos. Pythagoras

was a Greek mathematician and philosopher who lived around 570 BC in Samos, which is now
an island in Greek. Around 530 BC. He was born in Samos, Greece. He made developments in
mathematics, astronomy, and the theory of music. He died in Metapontum Village, Italy.
Pythagoras is most famous for his ideas in geometry.He is mainly famous by the theorem that is
named after him , the Pythagoras theorem. Pythagoras theorem, the well-known geometric.
Theorem states that
"In a right-angled triangle, the square of the length of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum
of the squares of length of other two sides that contains the right angle "
In equation form, it is written as a^2=b^2 + c^2, where 'c' = hypotenuse of the right triangle and
'a' and 'b' are the other two legs. Hence, any triangle with one angle equal to 90 degrees
produces a Pythagoras triangle and the Pythagoras equation can be applied to the triangle.
For example, if two legs of a right-angled triangle are given as 4 units and 6 units, then the
hypotenuse (the third side) can be calculated using the formula, c^2 = a^2 + b^2
Here: a=3 , b=4
3^2+4^2=c^2
9+16=c^2
25=c^2
c=√25=5
So, the hypotenuse is 5.
