Many believers wonder: “Will I keep walking with the Lord all my life? What about my times of
failure and sin? Sometimes I get so discouraged.”
1. What will God do according to?

Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

1 Corinthians 1:8
8 He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord
Jesus Christ.

5. What should we do in time of need when we are weak? (Verse 16)

Hebrew 4:14-16
14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, [27] Jesus the
Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.
15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we
have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.
16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy
and find grace to help us in our time of need. On what basis do we have the forgiveness of sin?

6. On what basis do we have the forgiveness of sins?

2 Corinthians 9:8
8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you
need, you will abound in every good work.

9. What promise are you given in 1 Peter 5:10?

1 Peter 5:10

suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

10. What attitude must you have in order to receive God’s grace?
James 4:6
6 But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows
favor to the humble.”

1 Peter 5:5-6
5 In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe
yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor
to the humble.”
6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
