believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved..

consequences which includes hell. Christ understand our weaknesses and will help,
strengthen and forgive our genuine weaknesses, but God cannot be mocked if we settle
for sin. He will punish sin. Rev 21:8 But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners,

Acts 2:38-39 38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of

Mark 16:17 17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they
cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of
our LORD Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, created in the likeness of God, in
righteousness and true holiness.

4. After You are Born Again, Your Spirit is a New Born baby and It Must Grow
1Pet 2;2 2As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow
thereby

5. After You are Saved, Your Mind is Still the Same; It Must be Renewed
Romans 12:2 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the
renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect,
will of God.

6. After You are Saved, Your Body is Still the Same; You Must Keep It under Control
1 Corinthians 9:27 27But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that
by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

7. After You are Born Again, Your Mind is Still Open to All Kinds of Thoughts; You Must
Learn to Think on the Right Things
Philippians 4:8 8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are
honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are
lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any
praise, think on these things

11. State 3 things a born-again Christian must do to grow in the spirit and be successful.
a. Read the bible regularly, have a daily quiet time, listen to preaching messages. You must
expose yourself daily to God’s word. God’s word is God and has a lot of promises for you.

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate
therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:
for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success

b. Regular prayer. You must take opportunities to pray so you can speak to God your Father.

1 Thess 5: 17 17Pray without ceasing

c. You must fellowship regularly with other believers and make them your close friends
Hebrews 10:25 25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the
manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see
the day approaching

12. After you are born again, what is your responsibility about the Gospel of Christ?
Tell or witness to your friends, family, neighbours and as many people as possible about your
salvation from sin and its consequences including eternal damnation or hell. They may also come to
know Christ and escape hell. You must not be ashamed to be a witness of Christ.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation
to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

13. Does God expect you to bear fruits?

Yes. You must aim to be a true FRUITFUL BELIEVER
John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and
bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my
name, he may give it you.

14. What are some of the fruits must you bear?

The fruits of the Spirit Galatians 5:22 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

15. After you have experienced the forgiveness, love of God and many benefits,
what are your 5 duties to the church which is the body of Christ.
a. You must be a faithful, committed, regular attendee to all church meetings and
programs, conferences, camps, prayer meeting, rehearsals and as required.
Jesus Christ will reward those who are good and faithful servants who can be
relied on.

Matthew 25:21 21His LORD said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful
servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over
many things: enter
thou into the joy of thy LORD.

To be faithful is a requirement for God to be able to use you and rely on you.
Every organisation need reliable and committed people, how much God.

1 Corinthians 4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful

(reliable).

b. Your second role in the church is to be a stable Christian in one local church so you can
receive continuous exhortation of the Word. For example, a student does not attend
lesson 1 in Uni 1,then lesson 2 in Uni 2 then lesson 3 a different Uni. This will be chaotic
and he is likely to be confused and achieve nothing by roaming from place to place.
Psalm 92: 13 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of
our God.

c. Your third role is to support the church financially by giving offerings and tithes to help
carry the Gospel to others who have not heard and to keep the church work running and
paying bills. Proverbs 3:9-10
Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase: So
shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

d. Your fourth role is to make your talents and gifts available to the church. Your talent
can be your special personality, your ability to give kind words, musical ability,
dancing, determination in life, giving, preaching, wisdom, compassion, teaching
skills, charisma, communication skills, or anything you’re good at. Be wise and
put them into use to help others. Don’t be a worthless servant after being bought
with a high price of Christ’s blood.
Matt 25: 26, 27,30 26 But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant!
…….27 Then you ought to have invested the talents……. 30 And cast the worthless servant
into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

e. Your fifth role is to know your pastors, love and respect them.
Gal 6:6
But let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches.
Don’t be deceived.

In summary what is the main difference between Christianity and all other religions?

There is no religion that offers what Christianity offers you.

Christianity offers a recreation and a change of the wicked heart of an unsaved man. Christianity
believes the spirit of man is born again or recreated by God when you invite Jesus into your heart.

That new recreated spirit or heart has a relationship with God because it is born of God as the Father
and is no longer separated from God but responds to God by His word and the Holy Spirit.

Christianity is not following a set of rules as some religions. You do not get to heaven by obeying
“Do’s” and “Don’ts”. Rather you are forgiven and saved by Gods grace, mercy and love.

Christ has changed your heart and given you power over sin to control your body, renew your mind
and prepare you to be Christ-like so Christ is the first born among many brothers and sisters ready for
God’s eternal kingdom. Romans 8:29 For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them
to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are
passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Ezekiel 36:26-27 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will
take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
And I will put my Spirit with you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my
judgments, and do them.

John 3:6-7 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again

It is a great blessing to be born again. You are ready to live a new life. This beautiful new life is
possible because you are actually a new person with a new holy and righteous heart created in the
likeness of God’s Spirit, the one who has given birth to the NEW YOU. So be grateful, happy and walk
as a child of God ready to grow and develop a relationship with your Father.
May you be rooted and grounded in Christ until He comes again!
