GENERAL PHYSICS 1

CULMINATING PERFORMANCE TASK RUBRIC

First Semester AY 2022-2023

Culminating Performance Standard:

The learners are able to solve, using experimental and theoretical approaches, multi-
concept, rich context problems involving measurement, vectors, motions in 1D, 2D, and 3D,
Newton’s laws, work, energy, center of mass, momentum, impulse, and collisions.

Culminating Performance Task:

The learners are expected to design a functional model / tool / product that can be utilized
by the family members and/ or the community showcasing the different concepts in physics.

I. TITLE: 3D MOBILE PROJECT PLAN

II. GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

A MOBILE PROJECT APPLYING / ILLUSTRATING MAINLY AT LEAST TWO (2)
GENERAL PHYSICS 1 CONCEPTS – 3D PLAN

III. OBJECTIVES:
The learners are able to showcase physics concepts in the design of a mobile project that
can be utilized by the members of the community. It specifically aims to:

a. conceptualize and design an energy – efficient functional model/tool/product that is useful

for the home or community;
b. illustrate/apply explicitly any two physics concepts in the design made; and
c. manifest good craftsmanship in designing a model/tool/product.

IV. GUIDELINES:
First Grading Performance Check

A. Format: -use one (1) long bond paper only with ½ inch on all sides & red border;
- ½ to ¾ part of the paper will consist of the drawing or illustration (digital or hand
drawn);
-use engineering/bold lettering for labels (strictly hand written);
-maximum of 2 color combinations of pen only (do not use pencils)
-no color background;

B. Contents: -clear and elaborate illustration/drawing with complete labelling of parts,

dimensions/measurements and materials to be used;
