Follow - up is the last step of process where the customers ensure the satisfaction and
build the relationship in order to repeat the business with them. Follow – up is an
important part of assuring customers satisfaction, desire and wants of the customer .This
might be sending a thank you note, calling the customer to make sure that was it
satisfactory to them, or checking it to make that to sure a service is meeting a students
expectation.

Good follow – up helps to ensure customers referrals, positive reviews, and actually leads
you back to the first step in the process because it provides the opportunities to learn
about new needs for this customers or new customers or new customers through referrals.

The presentation takes place that how is the process of the MBA ,CET, CAT and in that
presentation it has been well defined about the whole years of process and the total
amount of the fees for MBA, CAT, CET.
Hence the students / customers needs wants and add value to the customs of life is known
as the presentation.

There’s a good deal of presentation involved before ever makes his/her pitch or
presentation, but the presentation is where the research pays off and his/her idea for the
prospect comers alive.

Approach is the step where there actually interests with the customers for the first time.
First impressions (e.g. the first few minutes of call) are crucial to building the clients
trust. As a professional, you would almost never make a pitch right away, instead, you’d
work to establish a report with the customers first. This is called the approach. The
approach may be on the phone, in person, or via e-mail or other online method such as
social network.

39 | P a g e
This is the second stage of the process in which the person collects information about the
potential customers and understands them before making the call is called pre- approach.
The pre-approach is the ―doing your homework part of the process. A good person
researches his prospect, familiarizing himself with the customer’s needs and learning all
the relevant background info he can about the info he can about the individual or
business.

After all, spending an hour discussing the capabilities of your company’s ovens with a
lead that is about to go out of business would be a waste of time. It’s much more fruitful
to invest your time with a qualified prospect, one who has the desire or ability to buy the
product or service. This is the first step in which the potential customers are identified by
the person is called prospecting. It is also the step of finding qualified prospect that can
and will buy and pay for your product or service within a reasonable period of time.
Before planning a person conducts research to identify the people or companies that
might be interested in her product. In the B2B example, before the salesperson called the
company, she had to find the company’s information somewhere—probably in a local
business directory. This step is called prospecting, and it’s the foundational step for the
rest of the sales process. This is the other component to step one. What happens if the
customer is not interested in the salesperson’s product, or he’s interested but his business
is struggling financially and doesn’t have the resources for a big purchase? Perhaps he is
only an employee, not the manager, and he doesn’t have the authority to make the
purchasing decision.

I joined in June month and done my internship for 5 months and I use to go for the
internship by 9 a.m. in morning and come return back by the evening 6 p.m. in and the
internship was of all weeks and he internship was also open at Saturday and Sunday.

• BUSINESS PROCESS :

A business process or business method is a collection of related, structured activities or

tasks that produce a specific service or product (serve a particular goal) for a particular
customer or customers.

It may often be visualized as a flowchart of a sequence of activities with interleaving

decision points or as a Process Matrix of a sequence of activities with relevance rules
based on data in the process.

Every app development company have a very systematic and well-designed line of
business process that continuously challenges the market and other competitors

Business processes comprise a set of sequential sub-processes or tasks with alternative

paths, depending on certain conditions as applicable, performed to achieve a given
objective or produce given outputs.

Each process has one or more needed inputs. The inputs and outputs may be received
from, or sent to other business processes, other organizational, or internal or external
stakeholders.

Business processes are designed to be operated by one or more business functional units,
and emphasize the importance of the ―process chain‖ rather than the individual units.

The students are been located in various places like where they stay in near by places
their BRIGHT WAYZ branches are been located. As example the boy his residence is
near thane so his classes will be near Thane district.

RELATED CONCEPT FOR THE BUSINESS PROCESS :

• WORKFLOW - Workflow is the movement of information or material from

one activity or worksite to another. Workflow includes the procedures, people
60 | P a g e
and tools involved in each step of a business process. A single workflow may
either be sequential, with each step contingent upon completion of the previous
one, or parallel, with multiple steps occurring simultaneously. Multiple
combinations of single workflows may be connected to achieve a resulting
overall process.

• BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT BCM - Business Process

Management also termed as BPM covers how we study, identify, change and
monitor business processes to ensure theyrun smoothly and can be improved
over time. It is a continuous evaluation of existingprocesses and identification
of ways to improve upon it, resulting in a cycle of overallorganizational
improvement.

• KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT –
Knowledge Management is the definition of the knowledge that employees and
systems use to perform their functions and maintaining it in a format that can be
accessed by other. The Gartner Group definition states that & quote ;Knowledge
management is a discipline that promotes an integrated approach to identifying,
capturing, evaluating, retrieving, and sharing all of an Enterprise’s information
assets. These assets may include databases, documents, policies, procedures,
and previously un-captured expertise and experience in individual workers.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN THE BUSINESS PROCESS –

Advances in information technology over the years, have changed business
processes within and between business enterprises. In the 1960s, operating
systems had limited functionality and any workflow management systems that
were in use, were tailor made for the specific organization.
• Processes that enable them to get more from less;

• Processes and products that support their customers’ sustainability ambitions;

61 | P a g e
• Processes that help them contribute a way of bright and beautiful world.

I was doing the internship work in the BRIGHT WAYZ I was the interns for 5 months I
use to come at morning 9 am and I used to closed my work by 6 pm evening. The work
was no more only we have to concentrate on the students and clear their problems
whether it would be of MBA, CET, CAT etc. Or whether it would be the personality
development issues and English speaking and talking.

62 | P a g e
STUDENTS OBSERVATIONS

There are certain observations made by me during my time of management trainee which
areas follows:

• There is a high level of ethical behaviour and discipline maintained in the

organization of each and every department.

• Employee grievances are immediately recognized and controlled.

• Employees are given ample amount of freedom in order to voice their ideas and
thoughts irrespective of their job or position, suggestions etc.

• The ambience created by the organization and its employees makes newly
joining employees feel right at home.

• The seating arrangements with regards to the departmental heads and its
members are well organized by the manager of the company according to the
person’s talent knowledge ideas and skills.

• Employees can freely approach their seniors or superiors regarding any issues
without any hesitation.

• All the employees from top to bottom level of organization are corporative to
each other.

• The office is well ventilated and well-lit creating a stress free and anti- depressing
surrounding for employees to work in.

63 | P a g e
• Inter-departmental communication between individual employees is easy due to
intercom within the company.

• Employees are highly encouraged to join in on several training and development

programs organized by the company on a regular basis.

• Company surveys for the architects are conducted both by outsourcing to

Company surveys for the architects are conducted both by outsourcing to other
various factors such as time constraint, cost- efficiency, employee comfort
regarding confidentiality, etc. and many more.

• Employee documents are always under lock and key preventing misuse of
personal information of any company employee.

• Instructions and guidelines given by superiors regarding even the smallest of

How do internships benefit employee ?

1. Year-round source of highly motivated pre-professionals.

2. Students bring new perspectives to old problems

3. Visibility of your organization is increased on campus.

64 | P a g e
4. Quality candidates for temporary or seasonal positions and projects.

5. Freedom for professional staff to pursue more creative projects.

6. Flexible, cost-effective work force not requiring a long-term employer

commitment.

7. Proven, cost-effective way to recruit and evaluate potential employees.

8. Your image in the community is enhanced as you contribute your expertise to

the educational enterprise

• Keep your focus on the future :

With the job market experiencing a dearth of qualified employees, it only makes sense to
investigate early those quality high school, community college, technical school and
college students whom you can bring back later. Take on interns now and you’ll have a
competitive advantage in recruiting the best workers—you’ll already be known to the
employees you want most. Your new workers will already be trained for your workplace
and loyal to your company, lowering training time, recruiting costs and turnover rates.
You’ll build a reputation that will pay off with students, colleges and the community.
And your company will save money while benefiting from the input of talented,
enthusiastic, innovative people. With all of these advantages, you might find that you
can’t afford not to do internships.

Businesses rely on marketing staff to create unique and appealing designs for logos,
media materials and merchandise. Interns may be given a chance to explore the creative
process by assisting with the creation of client projects or learning how to use
design software.
Depending on the intern’s comfort level and experience, he might learn through job
Shadowing a mentor or by directly contributing his ideas and designs to the assignment.

CHAPTER : 5

STUDENTS EXPERIENCE –

From my first day on the internship BRIGHT WAYZ helped me to feel right at home as
the superiors were ready enough and willing to pay total attention despite their busy
schedule to train me educating me about all the home décor products with the functioning
of a company how it is manufactured and installed and many other processes and also
invested in my learning and trusted me to work on different initiatives that would benefit
both myself in my future as well as the organization. They also helped me to handle 2/3
customers at the same time by paying the equal attention to all the customers.

• Although one of the most challenging parts of working for such an esteemed
and major organized company was coming to grips with how large the
organization really was and acclimating to my first real ―corporate and
―effective job.

• One of the most important things to take away from the internship is the new
found knowledge, creative ideas and the way how the architects are presenting

another important and key point to take away is the polishing, sharpening and
honing of the skills I already learned and possessed.

Finally I learned how to manage the things properly, time management, punctuality,
disciplined, mannerism etc.

• This internship has helped me to be a better organized person, while dealing

multiple targets in organization during the tenure of internship. Swift
management of time and behavioural etiquettes were thoroughly implemented.

• One of the most important thing to be carried along with me from this internship
is new found knowledge, creative ideas and the way how engineers are trying to
be compliant to client’s needs, which includes knowing how to fulfil tasks
relevant to my desired career path.

• Also, the organization invested in my learning and trusted me to work on

different initiatives that would benefit both myself in my future endeavors as
well as the organization.

VALUE ADDITION :

To apply classrooms theory ?

The main objective behind this internship was to apply classroom theory. What have I
learned in the classroom, which relates to the world of work? How are the concepts I
have read about in textbooks applied in practice? What theories, ideas, or concepts might
be applied in my career area?

To improve skills ?
To improve skills such as: operating office or computer equipment; handling a variety of
situations simultaneously; organizing or analysing, data, records, or budgets; or
improving teamwork, writing, and speaking abilities.

Personal Development
To identify clear examples of leadership styles that either promote good working
relationships or hinder a productive work environment. And also, how to deal with
pressure, tension, and praise in work relationships.

To make a more complete (and impressive) resume:

It's pretty obvious, but one of the best things about completing an internship is being able
to add it to your resume.

To make new connections:

To make new connections it will act as references in the future, one should walk away
from an internship with a handful of new connections: senior employees, clients, fellow
interns, etc.

A greater sense of professionalism:

Working in an office environment (or any kind of professional setting) can be difficult to
get used to - and the best (perhaps only) way to learn how to navigate the working world
is through real life, hands-on experience. After my internship, I have a better idea of the

68 | P a g e
appropriate way to behave as a professional and a sense of corporate know-how.

Goals for personal enhancement:

• To Expand philosophy and knowledge in the field:

In depth knowledge of the field can be an enlightening experience which can
widen the boundaries of specific topics out of the box.

• To gain a greater understanding of the duties and responsibilities:

In a corporate world an intern can be substantially irresponsible and irrelevant if
he/she is unaware of his/her duties and understanding of the role of work profile.

• To Identify personal strengths and weaknesses:

Self-evaluation is the key for assessment of his/her own. This helps you zeroed
down your personal short comings and golden points.

• To Understand and adhere to professional standards in the field:

Internship helps to understand and adhere your professional standards leading to a
disciplined mannerism

• To Relate, to interact with, and learn from current professionals in the field:
An intern can learn a lot by relating, interacting with the professionals who are
present in the field since number of years with fortified experience.

• To Broaden your knowledge and education by continuing to learn:

Since an intern gets to learn numerous things and vast amount of knowledge, this
continuation of learning process rather enhances the knowledge of an intern
substantially.

• To Put theory into practice:

69 | P a g e
In intern gets to put his theoretical knowledge into practice while completing the
tenure of his internship. Internship is the proven ground for an intern to apply, try
and verify the methods he/she have been learning through-out his academic.

• To Develop the initiative and motivation to be a self-starter and work

independently:
Although it’s a new beginning for an intern while working, his abilities of taking
initiatives are motivated without taking someone else’s help, concern or
motivation.

• To Keep current in the field, update knowledge as standards are revised:

Since an intern continuously keep on applying theories he has been leaning, his
concepts and knowledge gets polished with every application and the revision
keeps him updated
