DAN LEVY

Good morning, everyone, I am Eloise Sharma, the chief technological officer at Lookbook and hold the
executive capacity to represent its interests. I hope you and your families are doing well. Before we begin,
I would like to say that I am really grateful that all the parties present in this room have agreed to search
for an amicable solution to our mutual problems through the process of mediation as well as the mediators
for explaining the process of mediation so elaborately. It speaks volumes about the values and beliefs of
the Dalt Wisney company and I sincerely hope our session leads to fruitful results.
Now, having adequate knowledge about the procedural aspect of our automated APS system I can
undeniably say that there was a certain lapse when the advertisements were misplaced on our website.
Having said that, the parties also need to give substantial consideration to the fact that the program is still
in its testing phase and being operated through artificial intelligence, the more data sets the system obtains
the higher it’s accuracy will be, it has worked excellently throughout the beta testing period and thus we
had our doubts about the malfunctioning. Depending upon this, we presumed that the error may have
been caused at a later stage, either due to inaccuracy in filling the form or a more intricate fault. To make
ourselves aware of what transpired, we appointed employees skilled at extensive investigative practices to
scrutinize the error and compile a report based on what they discover. We are willing to provide a copy of
the report to Wisney, the report stated that the misplacement may have been caused due to the incorrect
use of hashtags provided to us by your company.
We at Lookbook, believe that transparency builds trust and we’ve exhibited the same values previously,
for instance, our purpose for changing over from the intermediary advertising system to the direct
advertising system was because we want to harbour trust and faith in the minds of our customers. We are
open to provide any information you need regarding this matter and are willing to work together to
reverse the damage this incident has caused to both our companies.
As of this moment I would like to delineate our expectations from today’s mediation session-
1. One of our primary objectives is to maintain the relationship between Lookbook and Wisney as
well as look for newer avenues for partnerships moving forward
2. To reconcile on the issue of the advertisement misplacement and devise mutual solutions that are
beneficial to both parties
3. To issue a public clarification illuminating our customers about the reality of the incident and
reassuring them that the ideals that both our companies hold are disconnected to the subject
matter of the concerned articles

Firstly, in order to supplement our automated APS system and to ensure that such lapses do not occur in
the future we would like to propose a manual filter, a feature to our program which will help re instill
Wisney’s confidence in our intentions to want the best for our consumers. wherein we intend to employ
people to review the advertisement placements made through AI. We will elaborate on how this is
supposed to work moving forward into the round.
Furthermore, in the light of the misplacement of advertisements, the announcement of a bug bounty
program will be made subsequent to this session. The nitty gritties of which we will elaborate upon later
and upon approval.
We would be introducing more form filled surveys to aid the AI in collecting more data sets, since the
accuracy of the APS system is directly proportional to the quantity of the data it collects.
Finally, I would like to say that we hold our relationship with Wisney in the utmost regard and would do
everything possible to ensure that we continue to maintain its sanctity.

Mismanagement by Lookbook- modifications to the APS system- prevention of any such mishappenings
Manual filter-
Target audience-
Artificial intelligence works on very subjective inputs
After the discovery that the advertisements were being constantly misplaced, we conducted an extensive
internal enquiry which indicated that the initial applicant filled out your company was erroneous. And so,
the first agenda of this session would be to ensure that a correct application is filled out and sent to our
technological department. We are completely open to aid you in this process and to solve any doubts you
may have about the procedure.

Good morning, everyone, I am Lily Sharma, the Head of Marketing at Wisney and I confirm that I hold
the executive capacity to represent its interests. I hope you and your families are doing well. Before we
begin, I would like to say that I am really grateful that all the parties present in this room have agreed to
search for an amicable solution to our mutual problems through the process of mediation as well as the
mediators for explaining the process of mediation so elaborately. It speaks volumes about the values and
beliefs of Lookbook and I sincerely hope our session leads to fruitful results.
It was of great concern to our entire company when we discovered that our ads were being displayed not
only on articles that went opposite to what we want to portray but the kind of ideologies we shun in their
entirety. As a company whose target audience majorly and almost completely comprises of children,
displaying our ads on highly age-inappropriate matters and additionally controversial opinions concerning
gun control, extremism and sexism may lead to dangerous consequences, not just for our company but for
the “future” that we have an obligation to guide and influence.
We placed our trust in Lookbook, multiple times over the course of recent occurrences and I’m dejected
to say that we’ve been let down every time. We have not just invested in the company financially but
emotionally too. I doubt if anything can compensate for the reputational harm that the misplacement has
caused us, the image we built of Wisney ever since its establishment, the trust that parents used to place in
us knowing that we would always want the best for their children is now in shambles. The qualitative
aspect of the harm is if not more, almost as devastating as the financial loss that we suffered. We come to
this session to seek repair for the damage as well as to offer Lookbook our perspective on how we can, if
not reverse, lessen the blow that our relationship took because of this incident. It is on this note that I now
ask my counsel to lay down our agenda for today.

Good morning, everyone, I am Lily Sharma, the counsel for LFC and I hold the executive capacity to
represent its interests. I have come here with Mr. Shashank Tyagi with whom I have had an amiable
relationship for almost 16 years and so I’m aware of the ideals and morals he maintains.
I hope you and your families are doing well. Before we begin, I would like to say that I am really grateful
that all the parties present in this room have agreed to search for an amicable solution to our mutual
problems through the process of mediation as well as the mediators for explaining the process of
mediation so elaborately. It speaks volumes about the values and beliefs of the Mr. Rehman and I
sincerely hope our session leads to fruitful results.
Before we begin, I know that the presence of an attorney may be intimidating at times, but please be
assured that I am not here to make any legal arguments. My purpose today will be to protect my clients
interests and to help in reaching a solution beneficial to both parties. I will only be checking the legal
soundness of the solutions we may reach, and analyze their impact on my client.
Shashank has worked hard to build this company from scratch, he has toiled day in and day out to ensure
that the employees and the company as a whole flourish. The news of an employee and that too a well
very respected and cherished one, being in a personal relationship with one of his juniors disturbed
Shashank to a great extent. He has always valued the amount of work and dedication that Mr. Rehman
puts into his job, however, this kind of
I would like it to be noted that we have come in with a very flexible approach, and if we are unable to
decide on one agenda point, we can move on to another one at any point so that we may cover as much
ground as possible.

Good afternoon, everyone, I am Eloise Sharma, the counsel for Mr. Rehman Malik and I hold the
authority to represent his interests in this mediation session.
I hope you and your families are doing well. Before we begin, I would like to say that I am really grateful
that all the parties present in this room have agreed to search for an amicable solution to our mutual
problems through the process of mediation as well as the mediators for explaining the process of
mediation so elaborately. It speaks volumes about the values and beliefs of the company and I sincerely
hope our session leads to fruitful results.

My client has worked hard to gain the respect he has in this company, he has toiled day in and day out to
ensure that those working under him as well as those above are completely satisfied with the way he
performs his job. The news of his termination, and that too, without any “just” reason disturbed Rehman
to a great extent. He has always valued the opportunities and the expertise that the company has provided
to him and holds Mr. Tyagi in the utmost regard, and so, the letter of termination struck him violently. He
has been disturbed because of the lack of any logical reasoning behind the same.
In light of this, I would like to lay down what my client expects to achieve through this mediation session
in the form of our agendas today-
1. Firstly, To know the exact reason for the termination of his employment and if there was a “just
cause” behind firing him
2. Secondly, to discuss the matter of his rehiring at LFC with a better pay and position
3. To express the requirement to provide compensation for the reputational damage caused or
employment prospects equal or greater in value to the compensation sought for
I would also like it to be noted that Rehman has come in with a very flexible approach, and if we are
unable to decide on one agenda point, we can move on to another one at any point so that we are able to
cover every matter of consideration we can in the time provided to us.
