What are the strategies of marketing?

Strategic Marketing is the use of marketing disciplines to achieve corporate goals


by developing and maintaining a long-term competitive advantage. It is the overall game
plan of a company to reach out to potential customers and convert them into paying clients
for their products or services. This is a very important activity for an organization to
undertake.
As such, under this set-up are selecting a target market and developing a
marketing mix. It is essential for the organizations to identify the set of people whom
they want to be their target market. A target market can make up individuals,
organizations, or both, having the desire and ability to purchase a given product or
service. Wherein the company can choose to sew all or a segment of their target market
to increase sales and profits. There are segments within markets that have comparable
needs and will respond similarly to a marketing plan.

A marketing mix must be designed and maintained after the target market has
been defined. The product, pricing, promotion, and location are the four elements that
make up the marketing mix. The engineer manager can influence any or all elements in
a marketing environment to reach the company's objectives. As the circumstances permit,
the two set ups of marketing strategies must be carried out to serve markets that are best
fitted to their capabilities.
