Practice 5 – Indents and margins

Here is the text that you’re going to use for this exercise.

Humorous Quotations
Here are several quotations from well-known people. Do you know them? The
first is from a famous scientist:
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure
about the former. (Albert Einstein)
The second quotation is actually from a musician:
Sometimes you're the windshield; sometimes you're the bug. (Mark Knopfler)
Finally, here is a quotation from a French author and humorist:
Don’t put off ‘till tomorrow something which you can do the day after. (Alphonse
Allais)
Now, did any of these three quotations actually make you smile?

Instructions
1. Copy and paste the above paragraphs into a new
document.
2. The first line is the title. Separate it from the
text. Choose a darker font in a larger size.
3. Change the margins according to the image.
4. Add automatic spacing between the paragraphs.
5. Change the indents according to the image (the
first line of the paragraphs, and both sides of the
quotations). The quotations are the sentences
which are following by a name in brackets.
6. Reduce the size of the quotations by one point. These are

8. Justify all the paragraphs.
9. Adjust the margins again to center the main text horizontally and vertically. Check
by doing several print previews
10. Save your document in your Malvern > BTT > Word folder.
