NVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION:

Action and effect of training and


informing communities about
everything related to the
definition, conservation and
restoration of the different
elements that make up the
environment.

NVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT:

set of actions to establish the effects of


projects, plans or programs on the
environment and to develop corrective,
compensatory and protective measures
for potential adverse effects.

NVIRONMENTAL POLICY:

is the set of objectives, principles,


strategies and actions established by a
government or an organization to
manage and protect the environment.
These policies are based on the
recognition of the importance of
conserving and protecting natural and
cultural resources, as well as on the
promotion of sustainable development.
L ANDSCAPE:

Interrelation of biotic,
aesthetic and cultural factors
on the environment.

OLLUTION:

refers to the presence or introduction into


the environment of physical, chemical or
biological substances or agents that may
cause damage, alterations or disturbances to
natural ecosystems, human health and the
quality of life of living beings.
S USTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT:

Sustainable development is development


that meets the needs of the present without
compromising the ability of future
generations to meet their own needs. At the
same time, it distributes the benefits of
economic progress more equitably, preserves
the local and global environment and
promotes a genuine improvement in the
quality of life.

ERRITORIAL ORDERING:

understood as the distribution of the


uses of the territory according to its
characteristics.
W ILDLIFE:

study and conservation of living beings


in their environment and their
relationships, with the aim of
conserving biodiversity.
