Ans: We need to understand the idea of culture, society and politics because
these can help you know more about the place and the people. It can help you
communicate and be knowledgeable on their culture and traditions. Our culture
and society in the Philippines are also different from the others that is why we
need to know our culture to spread our common and unique things we Filipinos
do.

2. How do early societies differ from one another? Explain.

Ans: The earlier societies are very different from one another, they have different
rules, practices, foods and etc. The reason why they are different from the earlier
times is because they still have not discovered many things. They also worship
different gods, they also have leaders like elders, chiefs, queens and kings.

3. Why is social conformity important in society?

Ans: Social conformity is important in the society because it can make the people
more comfortable with each other and can let the persons in the group
understand with each other more. For example, influencing people to always say
good morning every time they meet because it is good manners. Influencing
people with good actions can make the group be more behave and be better.

4. How does culture and society shape and reshape gender, gender roles, and
gender expectations?

Ans: Gender, gender roles, and gender expectations can reshape because of
society and culture by the persons that are influential. Society can really be unfair
when it come to judging someone that is unique and has different taste than
others that has the same gender. As for culture, some places that have strict
rules that don’t allow gender switching.

5. How could the study of anthropology, political science, and sociology provide
awareness and insight to understanding cultural and societal change?

Ans: These 3 can provide awareness and insight to understanding cultural and
societal change by the research and the things that we society have on our
 groups. For example anthropology can research other cultures from other
groups to enlighten some people and let them learn how unique and versatile.
