Can, could, will, would, shall, should, may,
might, must, ought to, used to
--Usually ‘will, should and must” are not used,
since it would make it sound like instructions.
--- Do not start with the VERB, as in the case of
instructions like—“turn’ to the right, “take “ your
book etc
Do not start with ‘you’
Start with the “Object’
Eg-----The book could be taken/ the students
might carry the books to class
The direction to the left might be taken/ people
could turn to the left to reach
Waste should /might be thrown in the dustbins/
Dustbins should/might be utilized for proper
disposal of garbage.
