Job Description – Radiology Aide

• Create daily worklist of patients for X-Ray examination.

• Create, maintain and extrapolate patients worklist.

• Ensure radiology information system are periodically updated.

• Facilitate the conversion and transfer of Dicom images to regional hospitals.

• Attend to RAD INFO System Server queries throughout the hospital.

• Facilitate patient data transfer from computer to hard copy for storage.

• Sorting and maintaining of electronic patient files.

• Ensure that the digital batteries are charge and calibrated.

• Perform periodic checks on network connections between PACS System and radiology
workstation to facilitate the smooth transfer of images between the two devices.

• Facilitate the transfer of images and requisition cards to consultant radiologist for report
of patients from Health Centers and the Hospital.

• Relay network issues to the MIS personnel for the hospital and perform trouble shooting
exercises under the supervision of same.
