METHODOLOGY

So what are the methods used by the researchers in order to complete the
project or prototype? The researcher used two kinds of methods. First is the
simulation based prototyping, this is the design and programming phase were
the researcher starts to think on how to build a complete SCADA System using
only desktops or laptops, after creating a system in IoT Remote app, we the
researchers starts to gather for codes that will be used in the programming
this codes will be used by the ESP 32 to control the whole scada system. The
pzem-004t module have its own code on its library then the other code was
created by the researchers, since this scada system have different function
from the other the researchers cant find sample code from the internet. This
simulation can create a usable version of an interactive program that can be
operated through a virtual setting. The whole project is great in simulation
and on paper but in reality a real component that needs to function well is
really different. Now this is the time to make it real, the researchers now used
the second method which is the physical model approach. From the donor
products or the components we the researchers will create a unique SCADA
System with a new features specially by controlling this using IoT, what we do
in simulation will now be in 3D system for the researchers to know if it will be
really functioning well. Only once the functionality of the simulation based
prototype has been examined and assessed this is the only time the
development can move forward. The researchers can then review and
improve the prototype until the necessary specifications are reached.
