Subject: How to improve your learning skills

Hello Jane,

I hope you have had a nice day. Thank you for sharing your struggles in your learning

schedules with me. As your best friend, I am concerned about your current situation. I am

highlighting some important ways to improve your learning for better results, especially in

your chemistry examinations.

First, I have identified that you have been sleeping for less than five hours. This is a harmful

habit for your study schedule and brain. It is recommended that one needs sleep for seven to

nine hours a day. Enough sleep refreshes the brain and helps to effectively maintain the

pathways in your brain's memory, making it possible to learn and create new memories easily.

It also makes it easier for one to concentrate and respond quickly to critical questions.

Therefore, you need to have enough sleep for better coursework performance.

Furthermore, you always keep your phone on vibrate mode during your studies. Having your

phone with you as you study acts as a distractor to your concentration. Therefore, you must

consider switching off your phone during your studies to avoid distractions from calls and

friends' messages. Similarly, it will be important to concentrate on summarizing the key

points of each chapter. Rereading the whole chapter consumes much of your precious time

and limits you from covering other important aspects of the course.

Finally, I suggest you reschedule your study time from the usual night to early morning hours.

The human brain can only absorb ideas when it is fresh and relaxed. Therefore, at night you

are exhausted, and your brain is tired, unlike in the morning hours when the brain is fresh and

alert. Please consider my advice for the best of your studies.

Yours faithfully
