    Zimbabwean Driving Licences:

    With recent claims, we’ve noticed some confusion with Zimbabwean driving Licence codes.

    Please see below an explanation on the different Classes on a Defensive Driving Certificate as per “Check
    your Driver”.

    Class 1: Passenger coach / Busses (This most comprehensive license, any vehicle type may be driven
    including HCV’s)
    Class 2: Heavy Commercial Vehicles (Truck and two trailers)
    Class 3: Motorbike
    Class 4: Light motor vehicles / Taxis
    Class 5: Tractors etc

    NOTE: THE NUMBER REFLECTING ON THE DEFENSIVE DRIVING CERTIFICATE STATES


    THAT THE DRIVER HAS A DEFENSIVE DRIVING CERTIFICATE FOR BOTH CLASSES HE
    HAS A DRIVING LICENCE FOR, NOT FOR CLASS 2 VEHICLES AS INDICATED ON THE
    DRIVERS LICENCE CARD.
