Nia Atwater ( Story Review )

The story starts with a bride getting ready for her wedding, and as she dresses up in her gown
and glances at the mirror, nostalgia hits her.
She is taken back into the past of her high school days, where she met a person, a lover of her
life, that completely changed everything.

She elliptically describes her love at first sight moment, when she saw the man for the first
time as he walked into the class. Her details are so flawless about Roger's dark wavy hair and
sparkling green eyes that one can easily visualize the character in the writer's story. A writer
is one beautiful person who believes in the supremacy of love at first sight and is an old-
school lover by nature.

The writer describes every moment in such an elegant manner that it could give butterflies in
the stomach to the reader. The characters are described as typical hardcore lovers, who
together with each other achieve all the dreams too. The story is agonizing as the couple
didn't get to spend a lot of time together in the end. Roger, the lover boy doesn't return one
day after his flying hours, and the lady receives a tearing-down call about her husband.

The author describes the emotions of her main character beautifully, of how she dresses up
again for her wedding after a decade of losing her ex-husband. The mascara, veil, and dress
go well along with the lines on the forehead and smile indicating the aged bride. The bride is
trying to push her memories away, as she has found love and companionship in her new
about to be husband.

She even misses holding him close and say a few words for one last time before Roger was
leaving for his flying duty. She considers it the stupidest decision of her life to let him go in
the morning after a call from his boss for the flight. The excitement to hear about the flight
the next day keeps her on their toes, and she cleans up the house and even plans a gift for her
lover on his birthday falling next month, and then the phone rings.

The writer loves to explain things aesthetically. She has a soft corner for love inside her heart
and is an amid believer in love stories and long-lasting relationships. The writer has the
strength of emphasizing the minutest of the details with her magical usage of the words. The
whole story marks the imagination process and thinking of the writer and how she
understands the world. She acknowledges the importance of love and relationships and how
one needs relations in every big challenge in life. She is an avid reader and will continue to
keep her readers engrossed in her writings for a lifetime. The reader feels relaxed and
visualizes themself receiving the same care and affection from their partners. The story is a
perfect blend of romance and tragedy.
