A true friendship for the whole life or something more?

My aunt Mary often said to me that our life will never be easy. We need to make a
choice every day and this choice will be incredibly difficult. And I will forever
remember one of her stories. When she was young, she was studying at university.
She was a beautiful 20-year-old girl with blond curly hair, bright eyes and a charming
smile. After the first course, Mary decided to find a job in a local magazine
publishing house. And this choice absolutely changed her life.
Mary worked as an assistant director. He was a handsome 29-year-old man with dark
brown eyes. They spent a lot of time together at work and every night James treated
her to a cup of hot tea. A month later, they realized that they fell in love with each
other but told nothing about their feelings. One day, James invited her to go to an
incredibly amazing lake where he kissed his beloved girl.
