Bloom’s taxonomy helps teachers to contemplate and evaluate their teaching and a student’s

learning (Ahmed, 2021). The framework is used to assert clear intentions which can help
teachers in planning lessons accordingly. Furthermore, it can deliver a framework for cognitive
behaviours which can be utilised to comprehend the complexity of assignments, manage an
appraisal, and simplify or complicate the activities.

Bloom’s Taxonomy helps teachers comprehend the aims of classroom teaching. It directs them
to change the difficulty of the questions and helps students to attain higher levels of hierarchy.
Further, it helps in developing analytical thinking amongst teachers (Cummins, 2022).

As Bloom’s taxonomy helps categorise educational objectives into lower and higher order
intellectual thinking levels, the fundamental structure is exceptionally beneficial in helping
teachers in compiling questions for students that provides opportunities to evaluate those levels
of thinking.
