1.) NAME OF DISASTER: SUPER TYPHOON ODETTE (RAI)

2.) SEVERITY OF EXPOSURE:


A. DAMAGES IN THE BUIDING
DAMAGE to public infrastructure due to typhoon Odette, internationally known as Rai, has
reached over P17.71 billion, based on the national disaster management agency’s compiled
reports as of Jan. 10. 

B. LOSS TO PROPERTY

At least 209,809 houses were damaged during the onslaught of Typhoon Odette in Negros
Occidental last December 16, the latest data released by the Office of Civil Defense in
Western Visayas (OCD-6) on Wednesday showed.

Of the number, 158,345 were partially damaged while 51,464 were listed as totally damaged.

C. NUMBER OF INJURED

1,147. The agency's executive director Ricardo Jalad said a total of 1,147 were injured and 82
are still missing after the super typhoon battered many parts of the Visayas and Mindanao.
NDRRMC pegged the destructive typhoon's damage to infrastructure and agriculture at P16.

407 deaths. Based on the situation report released by the agency on Saturday, January 1, the
country now has 407 deaths caused by the deadly typhoon.
