THE UNFORESEEN SUFFERING

Imagine that you’re sound asleep and awakened by a phone call in the middle of

the night. In the other line of the phone, you hear total hysteria and can barely

understand what the person is saying. Once you get them to calm down enough for you

to understand them, they tell you that your child whom you sent off to school, is dead.

You ask yourself how, what happened and you found that he was killed due to hazing.

Hazing is a dangerous, illegal, and a widespread practice. This topic is very

important because the safety of everyone are paramount. Nothing else in life is more

important. Many students went off to school to follow their dreams which included

becoming a member of a gang and to be a member of a prestigious sorority, which

makes hazing a significant concern. Today, I’m gonna tell you three aspects of hazing.

Fist, hazing is very dangerous. Second, hazing is illegal in most states. And

thirdly, hazing is a widespread practice.

Let’s begin by discussing three dangers of hazing. According to USC, hazing can

cause great bodily harm. Hence from being a paddle, whipping and striking can cause

blunt trauma came from alcohol. Moreover, hazing can cause death. Now that we have

discussed the dangers of hazing, let’s move forward to its legality.

Hazing is illegal in most states. 44 states have laws against hazing. If you’re

charged with hazing in the states which have the anti-hazing laws, it can be felony and

punishment depends on the severity of the hazing incident.

The fun point of this discussion will be how widespread hazing is today. Hazing is

being conducted in many areas. Haze is not just a fraternities. In some way, hazing is

dangerous, illegal and a widespread practice. Today we have discussed the fact that

hazing can cause great bodily harm.

Always ask yourselves if BROTHERS would treat their incoming brothers a

ANIMALS.
