There were two options: to go to Scotland or the east of France and the north of
Italy. Also, we could’ve thought of another destination, but we just stayed with
one of these two.
I made a pro-cons list of both destinations, seeing what were the positive and
negative aspects of each part. For example, going to Scotland meant seeing only
wildlife and landscapes, and going to the other destination meant big cities and
towns. That year, I preferred to be surrounded by nature, while my mother
wanted to be in crowded streets. But, with the lists of pros and cons, I showed
her that in Scotland, you can be in crowded cities such as Edinburgh, Glasgow,
Aberdeen, and Inverness.
Our final decision was to go to Scotland. Finally, we had such a great time and,
after the trip, we were very proud of going there and not to the other
destination.
5. What methods did you employ to make this decision (critical thinking,
representative heuristic, emotional intelligence, etc.)?
We put our final decision into action by having the trip to Scotland. It was
extraordinary, and what we loved the most was all the splendid castles, with its
dream rooms.
By employing our final decision, the outcome was very great (there were. From
our point of view and the fun we had on the trip, we instantly knew that the
decision we made was the correct one.
