4. Calculate the radius of convergence for the binomial expansion of the power series for

Question 5: Write the Fibonacci coding for (i) 96 and (ii) 45 (10 marks)

Question 6: Write the Fibonacci decoding for (i) 1001001011 and (ii) 101010101011 (10 marks)

Question 7: In the Moessner’s theorem, if you increment the increment by one in each step, thus
incrementing the step size by 1, 2, 3, 4, . . . , in successive steps, then calculate the 5th number in the
final sequence. (5 marks)

Question 8: State true or false. Prove the statement if it is true, and explain using a counter example
if it is false. (5 + 5 = 10 marks)

(1) In a Golden rectangle, if you cut out a square, you are left again with a golden rectangle.
(2) In a Golden Triangle, if you drop a perpendicular from one of the vertices which joins two
unequal sides, then one of the resulting triangle is again a golden triangle.
