SUBJECT: COMPUTER FAILURE

I write this to report a problem concerning a computer belonging to Jack Zimba. Starting from last week,
his computer has been misbehaving whereby it was jamming at the start up. Sometimes it would turn
on properly but as he uses it, it would display an error message and go off on it’s own. I tried changing
the operating system because one of the errors displayed was to do with file systems. After this action
was done, issue still continued and this time it was displaying a hardware related problem.

I went on to troubleshoot the problem by removing the hard drive and test it on another machine, and it
worked perfectly up until now it is working but the computer in which it was originally in cannot start
anymore.

At the meantime, I have put his hard drive into the computer belonging to Jeffrey which had a broken
LCD and I also set up a monitor temporarily for him to use.

One of the computers from Workshop is being repaired at Cyber Tech and they said it will be fixed
before the end of this week as they were still working on it as of yesterday.

To help Jack properly work, it was suggested that if he can be using the computer that Sibongile
Nyirenda uses at the mean time until the other computer has been fixed.
