1. Preface
This manual provided information of JINBEN air suspension system maintenance
checking and safety. This manual of technical data and number is only suitable for current
standard configuration of jinben air suspension system .When unmatched, please contact jinben.
Users are required to use and maintain buses according to this handbook. You are sure to be
rewarded with efficiency and safety!

3. Quality control
Jinben provides following quality guarantee period (from the selling date of the bus).

3. 1 Additional duties:

products.

When Jinben’s air suspension systems are used together with components that are not
agreed by Jinben, or fixing parts of other manufacturers on to the Jinben-made air
suspension products, Jinben is irresponsible for the guarantee of that kinds of products.

the vertical rod: >40mm

5. 1 Maintenance of the pressure protection valve.
Drain out the water in the air tank regularly.
5. 2 Inspection of the pressure protection valve
. 5. 2. 1 Whenever checking the brake system, you have to check whether pressure protection
valve works well,
- 5. 2, 2 The tuming-on pressure of the pressure protecting valve is 6.0 bar and the turning off
pressure is 5.3 bar at least. When checking, take apart any tie-in of the air suspension system
pipeline at the let-out side of the pressure protecting valve, When the pressure in the air tank
is above 6.0 bar, the valve should start to work. There is air to flow out. Before the pressure
is lower than 5.3 bar, the pressure protection valve should shut down automatically, There is
no air flowing out so that there is enough pressure for brake system. If these requirements
can’t be met with and no other reason can be found out, the pressure protection valve should
be replaced.,
5. 3 Replacement of the pressure protection valve.
Take apart the old pressure protection valve, fix the new valve according to the arrow on the
valve showing the air flowing direction. Check out the valve according to the requirements
above, it should work well. After that, connect the let-in and let-out of the valve. At the feed
pressure about 7.0 bar, which is the most pressure for the system, make sure the system
doesn’t leak.
- 6 Replacement of Rubber Bush
- 6. 1. 1 Install new bush
1) Fix a new lining and symmetries it with the steel spring lifting ear.
2) To install the steel spring again on the frame bracket.
3) Tighten up the steel spring axle pin bolt to the regulated moment force.
6. 1. 2 Final check
1) At the condition of air feed pressure over 6.0 bar, check whether the system leaks, the air
spring should be filled to the right suspension height.
2) Check the balance of the vehicle while driving and the wheel mark
inclining.
6. 2 Replacement of the Lateral Stabilizer Rod Rubber Bush
6. 2. 1 Dismantle the old bush,
1) Dismantle the bolt of the lateral stabilizer rod pin axle,
2) Dismantle the old bush.
3) Clear away the soils in the lateral stabilizer rod pin axle holes and wipe it clean,
4) Check whether there is mutilation and crack in the lateral stabilizer rod. The cracked
lateral stabilizer rod must be replaced instead of repairing.
6. 2. 2 Install new bush
1) Fix the new bush and symmetries it with the lateral stabilizer rod lifting lug.
2) To reinstall the lateral stabilizer rod again on the bracket.
6. 2. 3Final check
1) Under the condition of the air feed pressure over 6.0 bar, check whether the system leaks,
the air spring is filled to the right suspension height
2) Check the balance of the vehicle while driving and the wheel mark is just instead if
inclining.
