Exterior unlocking steps are as follows (see the Fig. 3): a. Rotate the lock cover to the left or the right 180 degrees to uncover the keyhole; b. Insert the key and rotate it to the right 90 degrees. c. Rotate the handle (key) to the right 90 degrees and then release the handle; rotate back the handle (key) 90 degrees automatically to retract the lockpin, d. Rotate the key to the left 90 degrees and then take down the key. €. Press it up to close the passenger door. In case of emergency when the passenger door must be opened from the inside, open the emergency switch cover (see Fig. gy imieee to the right 90 degrees (see Fig. 2), bleed air out of the door pump, push and pull the passenger door by hands to open and close it. (2) Exterior Switch ‘An emergency handle is arranged outside the vehicle body at the rear side of passenger door. In case of emergency when the passenger door must be opened from the outside, open the emergency switch boot firstly (see Fi ), rotate the red emergency handle to the right 90 degrees (see Fig. 2), bleed air out of the door pump, push and pull the passenger door by hands to open and clos & Warnin, During the driving, don’t press the passenger door’s rocker switch button or remote control button at random to prevent the passenger door from being opened accidentally. After the passenger door is closed completely, the vehicle starts, Before the passenger door is opened, the vehicle must be stopped stably, or inertia effect results in damage of door mechanism. When the door moves outwards, there should be no barrier (including pedestrian) within the scope of 400 mm. between the door and the right front wheel, which can result in damage of door (or injury of pedestrian). When the passenger door is closed, there should be no person and goods within the rotating scope of the rotating arm of the door pump, which can result in injury of passenger and damage of goods. When the emergency handle is pulled to the position of “air release”, the door falls about 20 mm. According to customer demands, the vehicle can be equipped with electric or non-electric sunroofs. Sunroof can be used as an air vent as well as an emergency exit which can be opened in case of emergency. 1) Ventilation Position (J) There are two hand holders (A) in the front and the back at the the sunroof. When holding the front or rear holders inside the vehicle, push up to open the front or rear part of the sunroof, and pull down to close the ‘sunroof. 2) The electric sunroof also can ventilate through the rocker switch button on the dashboard panel. When the sunroof is at front ventilation position, the vehicle speed must be less than 100km/h. 2) Open/Closed Position (1)_ In case of danger, press the ventilation state to push up the roof, pull off the plastic cover (B) at the back of the sunroof, rotate the red handle (C) to the left or the right 90 degrees to push the sunroof cover ‘outward, and open the sunroof up to 100 degrees. (2) In case of danger, rotate the exterior knob (D) to the left or the right 90 degrees to open the sunroof from the outside. (3) Close the sunroof cover a. Coarse dirt influences the function of the seat belt’s automatic retraction device. © The guiding device for the spring bolt shouldn’t be blocked by paper or equivalents, or the spring bolt can’t be engaged. © Check the seat belt regularly. If the parts have been damaged or the seat belt has been used in an accident and deformed, the seat belt must be replaced at Zhongtong Bus Special ‘Maintenance Station. © It is not allowed to disassemble or modify the seat belt by your own, Correct method for wearing automatic three-point seat belt. The automatic three-point seat belt can ensure its free retraction in the slow stretch and be locked in the sudden stretch. (1) Wear the seat belt Press down the red button on the locking seat; the spring bolt is unlocked and popped out of the locking seat. gy nme D arrenrion: @ Only when the backrest is in an upright position and the seat belt is worn on the body firmly can the seat belt protect ‘you well in accidents. © Excessive backward inclination of the backrest greatly influences the protective function of the seat belt. © The seat belt’s spring bolt and locking device must be used in pair, or it influences the protective function of the seat belt and increases the possibility of injury. 10. Adjustable steering column The steering column can be adjusted, forward and backward, up and down. Rotate and loosen steering column left locking button to adjust the n of the steering column upwards and downwards; rotate and ering column right locking button to adjust the position of the steering column back and forth. Lock the rotation button after reaching the expected position. © arrention: © The steering column should be adjusted when the vehicle stops. © For the sake of safety, the handle must be screwed tightly to prevent the change of the position of the steering column during the driving. 11, Adjustment of rearview mirror ATTENTION: © Prior to driving the vehicle, the rearview mirror should be adjusted well to ensure backward view at any time. 1) Fully adjustment of exterior rearview mirror (1) Manual exterior rearview mirror A. (3) Heat the rearview mirror Under the circumstance that the engine starts, press the heating switch of the exterior rearview mirror to heat the exterior rearview mirror. © arrention: When the exterior rearview mirror can be viewed normally, close the heating systent timely. It is good for reducing energy consumption and : prolonging service life of the parts. 12, Use of front windshield sunshade (1) Pull rope or handle of the front windshield sunshade lightly, within the adjustable scope, up to a proper position. (2) Pull down rope or handle of the front windshield sunshade lightly and then loosen your hands to return the sunshade automatically. 13, Hand brake control valve ‘The control handle of the hand brake control valve is arranged on the clectric appliance box at the left side of the driver seat. After the vehicle stops, pull back the control handle of the hand brake control valve. The energy storage spring brake, under the control of the dynamic balance type hand brake control valve, releases the air to brake. When the pressure of air pressure pipeline is up to 0.45 MPa, the parking brake can be removed. After the hand brake signal light goes out, the vehicle starts. Usage of Hand Brake Control Valve: the hand brake control valve along the axial direction, and then push forward the control handle of the hand brake control valve to the driving EB bias ® Driving Position — Braking Position out the control handle of the hand brake control valve along the axial direction, and then pull back the control handle of the hand brake control valve to the braking position.
