The researchers aim to produce

naturally made inks derived from
biological materials such as
mango peels, alugbati stems,
and mayana leaves.s
The major objective of this
study is to compare the
plant pigment in
commercial ink to see the
quality between these inks.
The researchers utilized an Experimental
Research Design; and through gathering the
data, the researchers chose their respondents
by using the Simple Random Sampling
Method Technique, and utilized Questionnaire
Method as instrument to collect data.
In terms of ink color quality, the data revealed that
the number of respondents who preferred the color quality
of the synthetic pigments are greater than the number of
respondents who preferred the color quality of plant
pigments; and with regard to the stick consistency, the data
showed that the number of respondents who selected the
stick consistency of the synthetic pigments are greater than
the number of respondents who selected the stick
consistency of plant pigments.
In addition to the findings, as to the ink
saturation quality, the data revealed that the
number of respondents who favored the
saturation quality of the synthetic pigments
are greater than the number of respondents
who preferred the saturation quality of plant
pigments.
Lastly, In the context of factors to
consider in choosing an ink, the data
indicated that the number of respondents
who considered the factors non-toxic and
environment-friendly, color, and dry-time and
lightfastness are greater than those who did
not consider.
This means that in choosing an ink,
the respondents considered the
aforementioned factors. Hence, the
result of the findings ascertained that
the Synthetic Pigments is more efficient
than Plant pigments in terms of ink color
quality.
The researchers recommend using
commercial ink as it has chemicals to enhance
the efficiency of the ink in different qualities.
Commercial ink quality as brush ink in
comparison with plant pigment is good based on
the study carried out. However, the plant
pigment as ink is non-toxic and environment-
friendly based on the results from the survey,
and so the researcher recommends plant
pigment as an ink if you are concerned about
the environment.
