On PC: Right-click image icon > Properties to find out the dimensions of your image in pixels.

On Mac: Control-Click image > Get Info.

Open the file in Photoshop. Pull down Image > Image Resolution to find out the resolution.

Divide the resolution by 300 (dpi/ppi) to calculate how much to reduce your photo to make it
appropriate for print quality. (eg. 150 ppi ÷ 300 ppi = .5 or 50%)
