Instructions and steps for entering question paper discrepancy

through UMS
1. The online question paper discrepancy can be entered within 72 hours after the conduct of
scheduled examination.
2. The student can enter multiple discrepancies for given course code
3. The pathway for entering discrepancy is UMS Navigation --> Examination System --> Fill
Exam Discrepancy

The steps for entering online question paper discrepancy in UMS interface are as follows
Step I: The interface shows the list of exams held in last 72 hours. The student can go to ‘Fill
Discrepancy’ to report discrepancy.

Here, student can see the course code, course name, type, date of exam, and time of exam.
Step II: The student can report discrepancy by clicking on ‘Fill Discrepancy’ as shown below.

Student can click on ‘Fill Discrepancy’ to report discrepancy in that particular exam

Step III: After clicking on ‘Fill Discrepancy’, a new window opens where student should enter
the details regarding particular discrepancy. The steps are explained below.

Step IV: From the dropdown, select Unit/Section in which discrepancy is being reported.

Step VIII: Click on ‘Add Discrepancy’. The student discrepancy is added and can be
see

Step IX: The student can see all discrepancies reported by them in bottom box as shown
below.

Step X: Once the discrepancy is added, the student can update the discrepancy as well.

Click here to update discrepancy

if any changes are required after

discrepancy is entered.
