You and your partner have two very similar, but not
identical, drawings of a family at home. Take turns
asking each other yes / no questions about what the
people are doing. Circle any people that aren’t doing
the same activity in both pictures. For example:

A: Is Carlos reading in your picture?


B: No, he’s not. He’s watching TV. Is Elena washing
the dishes in your picture?
A: Yes, she is.

After discussing all eight people, compare


pictures to check your answers.

You like your best friend’s neighbor very much. You still haven’t met him /
her, but you are planning to do it soon. You just want to make sure that he /
she is not seeing somebody else. To be sure, you call your friend at
different times so that he / she peeps into his/her neighbor’s house and tells
you what he/she is doing.
