A verb is a word or a combination of words that indicates action or a state of being or condition.
A verb is the part of a sentence that tells us what the subject performs. Verbs are the hearts of English
sentences. Examples: Jacob walks in the morning.

Present Progressive Tense. The PRESENT PROGRESSIVE TENSE indicates continuing action,
something going on now. This tense is formed with the helping "to be" verb, in the present tense, plus
the present participle of the verb (with an -ing ending): "I am buying all my family's Christmas gifts
early this year.

TALLER EXPRESIVO

your family. Use verbs and some progressive sentences in affirmative, negative and
interrogative. Don’t forget to draw or paste a picture of your family.

to the weather, use the present progressive in affirmative, negative and interrogative. Make a
picture and prepare an exposition, record it and send it to your English teacher.
