How can BSEE help attain BU Vision?

Students have the power to change the world by utilizing knowledge from
their respective fields, exercising rightful leadership, and contributing to an
organized collective effort. Recently, the world has experienced a great
disconnection between public opinion and science often as a result of politics and
distrust as people continue to lean into their emotions instead of factual
information. Thus, it is in the student’s responsibility to inform the public by
sharing their knowledge and expertise in their personal fields of expertise.
We have to show them that science can help change the world by
introducing new technologies, solving problems, and making significantly more
informed decisions. Especially as electrical engineering is at the heart of many of
the countless upcoming innovations in the ever-changing world. On top of
managing the electrical systems designed to power our everyday lives,
additionally, they are at the forefront of emerging innovative technologies, from
microscopic electric components to large pieces of machinery.
