 Science refers to the realm or study of the natural world based on facts and knowledge learned
through empirical studies, careful experiments and observations. Science can be seen in our
daily lives, whether it is a speck of sand or the biggest airplane we will ever see.

2. WHAT IS TECHNOLOGY? EXPLAIN.

 Technology refers to the practical application of scientific knowledge for a purpose technology
enhances the usefulness of goods and services safely it aims at creating value technology helps
us make work easier it can help us in many ways possible.

3. WHAT IS SOCIETY? EXPLAIN

 A society is a group of people that associate with one another regularly or a vast social group
that shares the same geographical or social territory and is usually subject to the same political
authority and prevalent cultural expectations.

4. WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE CONNECTION OF SCIENCE TO TECHNOLOGY? EXPLAIN

 Science is the study of the natural world using the scientific method, which includes
systematically collecting information. And technology is the application of science to the
creation of devices that can solve problems and perform various tasks. Science is simply applied
in technology.

5. WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE CONNECTION OF TECHNOLOGY TO SCIENCE? EXPLAIN

 Science and Technology help each other in different ways to advance. Scientific knowledge is
used to create new technologies, Technology and more advanced technology helps discover
new scientific knowledge. Whichever the type of scientific field, whether medical science,
biological science, and chemical science with the help of technology, scientific knowledge is
much more easier to collect.

 Science is a major factor in life. It has a specific role and variety of functions that would benefit
the society, creating new knowledge, improving education, and increasing the quality of our
 lives are some of the roles of science in society. Science must respond to societal needs and
global challenges. Society goes hand in hand with science because the main purpose of science
is to serve society, With the society needing much more information about life, scientists then
need to discover new scientific discoveries that will benefit the society.

 Technology affects every individual today. It affects us on how we communicate, learn and
think. It helps society and it determines how we interact with each other. Technology has a
major role on society today. Technology has a lot of positive effects on society, however it also
has some negative effects. On the other hand society drives technological change, while
changing technologies in turn shape society. Technological decisions should take into account
both costs and benefits.

8. WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE IMPORTANCE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY TO OUR

SOCIETY? EXPLAIN

 Science and technology is the pinnacle of man today it helps society in the creation of new
knowledge, and utilizing of that knowledge to boost the prosperity of human lives, and to solve
the various issues facing society. Without science and technology society would still have
hardships on a daily basis.

COURSE? EXPLAIN

 Science, Technology and Society is a major aspect in tourism and in the tourism industry
because without science and scientific discoveries society would not be on how it is today.
Without technology, technological advancements and inventions for example transportation on
aircrafts and ships, society would not have tourism today.

10. WHAT ARE YOUR EXPECTATIONS AFTER THE WHOLE DISCUSSIONS OF OUR LESSONS?

 After the discussion of all the lessons in Science, Technology and Society I should know how
Science and technology really affects us as an individual, And how should we utilize our
resources and time on the betterment of society with the use of science and technology.
