BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Fruits are nature's gift to mankind. These are not only tasty and refreshing, but

they are also a good source of vitamins, minerals, and proteins. It comprises the foods

that are made available by nature. Although not necessarily all fruits available in nature

are edible or consumable, fruits are generally associated with flavorful foods. According

to a study, those who regularly consume fruits have higher immune levels and are less

likely to contract certain illnesses. It has a few calories, which is one of their qualities.

This indicates that they aid in weight loss and slimming programs and lower body fat

percentage. They also have a lot of fiber, which helps with indigestion and constipation.

The presence of various vitamins and minerals in fruits, in addition to the water,

calcium, potassium, sulfur, and iron ions that support health and treat a number of

diseases, is the primary factor in the fruit's various functional functions in the human

body's health. Slightly over one-third of customers (36%) stated in the study that they

prefer to purchase healthier items and do so when they can do so at a discount. However,

30% of consumers claimed to only purchase items they can afford, and 15% claimed that

because items are frequently too expensive, they only do so occasionally.

The importance of fruits is not widely recognized by people today because there

are so many produced goods with inferior nutritional benefits to those that are valued by

the majority, as well as because some people prefer to buy foods or nourishments that can

be consumed immediately for less hassle. The fact that these fruits require human effort

rather than machine labor, which is more efficient and less expensive in the long run,

adds to their cost and is another factor in why most people do not consume them.
3

Humans are aware of the benefits that eating fruits can provide. There comes a

time when the repetitiveness or lack of variety of eating the fruits themselves makes

people feel tediously unvarying. For this, we propose a business that offers foods and

nourishments made freshly from the variety of fruits being prepared in different ways at a

budget-friendly price, which, due to the alternative methods of preparation, will draw not

only fruit lovers but also fruit detractors, offering fruit shakes and fruit dishes.

Our products include the following kinds of fruits: banana, strawberry, apple,

grapes, mango, avocado, and buko. Five varieties of delicacies made up of these fresh

fruits. One of it is the mini version of a banana split, combined grapes, strawberries,

apples and bananas for the fruitycue delight, ripe mangoes for mango tapioca, creamy

avocadoes for the avocado shake and young buko for the buko shake.

The proposed business name shall be "Fruitsify," which will be located inside the

premises of St. Vincent’s College, Inc., Main Campus. The establishment of this fruit

shop will be the bridge or strategy to increase the fruit consumption of individuals in the

setting leading a fruitful life.

statistically. A single survey may focus on different types of topics such as

preferences, behavior or information, depending on its purpose. Since survey research

is usually based on a sample of the population, the success of the research is

dependent on the representativeness of the sample with respect to a target population

of interest to the researcher. The target population can range from the general

population of a given area to specific groups of people within that area. The persons
