International edits
In some international versions, this episode was shortened.
In the Hebrew version, "Sarasponda" and "The Frog on the Log" were
not sung. In that same version, the season one version of "I Love
You" was used, with the vocals being taken from the Hebrew version
of "A Splash Party, Please".
Also in the Hebrew version, the Barney doll appears to be playing
drums at the end.

Clip/Audio Compilations
The story scene and the song clips for "Listen" and "Silly Sounds"
were later featured in the library exclusive video, Love To Read, With
Barney.

This episode reveals that Kathy's favorite sound is the owl sound.
The same Mr. Honey Bear costume would later return in Barney's
Super Singing Circus.

MOVIES In the Hebrew version the bear costume seen in the US Version was
replaced by a different bear costume.

TV Goofs
The Season 1 version of the theme was used for Unknown Reasons
it could be found on a Sprout airing.
