The Growth of Cities

There are several reasons why cities are growing: the state of being a
major business center, ports, transportation centers and having large
universities.
As cities grow, they face some problems like shortage of buildings for living
and business. So, people construct tall buildings to use land efficiently.
Also providing services such as water, electricity and etc. to the whole
building is difficult and, finally, the rate of transportation increases, so it
causes serious air pollution.
