On Spot Inspection
Narrative Report
In line with the RM 83 s. 2023 and
Unnumbered Division Memo titled:
Reiteration on the Conduct of
Coordination Meeting Between DepEd
Field Offices and their PNP Counterparts
Re: Reports on School Violence (RSV), an
agreement among schools was
established allowing the PNP to conduct
On Spot Inspection among students
and school personnel to check deadly
weapons and other dangerous items
prohibited in schools. This measure
aims to prevent the occurrence of
violence inside and outside school
premises.
The On Spot Inspection was
conducted last March 24, 2023. Four
random sections were chosen. It
was decided that two Grade 9
sections and two Grade 10 sections
are to participate. Before the actual
inspection, police officers discussed
the rationale behind the activity
and the process of how it will be
conducted.

On Spot Inspection
Narrative Report
Police officers explained the On Spot
Inspection to students for their knowledge
and understanding of the activity.
Each student took out the things from their
bags. The police officers were taking a
look at their things and not touching
anything. Class advisers and the school
principal were present and inside the
classrooms as well. The students were
cooperative during the inspection.
They reiterated the importance of
ensuring the safety of every student
and school personnel in schools.
They also reminded the students to
refrain from engaging in fights and
acts of violence and to respect
every one. This helps in bringing
peace and harmony not only in
schools but also in the community.
