Subject: SWECO TechLube™ 2

SWECO is pleased to introduce TechLubeTM 2, the second generation automatic grease lubrication
system. Like TechLube it provides optimum lubrication of the motion generator bearings. The original
TechLube system is being replaced as inventory is depleted. NEW FEATURES of Techlube 2 include:
 Simplification of the drive unit programming. TechLube 2 has a single push button menu with LCD
display instead of dip switches. Disassembly of the unit for programming is eliminated. A push button
menu is used to select the discharge period and lubrication canister size which are clearly shown on
the LCD display.
 After the initial programming of volume and discharge period, programing is retained even with battery
changes
 The drive unit is now equipped with four LED lights that signal function and errors and can clearly be
seen from a distance. The LED lights and display screen will signal operating conditions and
malfunctions.
 The new drive is compatible with all previous generation lubrication canisters and batteries.
This means all existing customer stock of refill kits can be used with the new drive.
 The maximum output pressure has increased from 75 PSI (5 bar) to 87 PSI (6 bar).
 The maximum operating temperature range has increased from 122°F (50°C) to 140°F (60°C).
 The protection class is IP65 which is protection against dust and liquids.
 The unit has an improved drive cover. Made of transparent plastic it protects the drive from moisture,
weather, and damage. The blinking LED signals and display screen can be seen through the
transparent plastic.
 The lubrication canister has been improved by providing three clear windows so the lubrication level is
easily visible. The canister is still available in two different volumes, (120 and 250cc) and two different
types of grease (standard and food grade).
 Refill kits, which include one lubrication canister and one battery set, are available (other than labeling
these are identical to the previous generation refill kits). Whenever the lubrication canister is changed,
the battery set must also be replaced.
