Cementitious Floor Topping for Concrete Pavements

Product Description Grandflor CFT is a cementitious pre-packed polymer modified
Industrial Flooring
repair mortar specially designed for resurfacing, patching and
repairing large areas of concrete. It is supplied as a single
component powder which only needs mixing with a specific
quantity of water to produce a non-shrink and rapid strength-
gain mortar. It is based on a blend of cement, aggregates and
modifying additives.

Instruction for use Surface preparation

The substrate must be clean and sound, free of dust, loose
particles. Laitance, oil, grease must be removed from concrete
surfaces by scabbling, grit blasting or other means. Defective
and unsound substrate has to be removed and repaired prior to
the application of GRANDFLOR CFT.

Mixing
Measure 4.0 to 4.5 liters of water into a clean container. Slowly
add 25 kgs (1 bag) GRANDFLOR CFT into the container and
mix slowly with a low speed mechanical mixer until a
homogenous and lump-free mix is obtained.

Application
Prior to placing the prepared areas should be saturated by
flooding water few hours before the application of GRANDFLOR
CFT. All excess water should be removed before application of
GRANDFLOR CFT.

Placed the mixed materials evenly over the concrete substrate

into place using trowel or a wood float to ensure full compaction
but should be not be overworked. Strike off the surface to the
correct level and finish with a steel trowel. If a textured finish is
required, this can be done with sweeping brush.

Curing
Rapid moisture loss from the exposed surface may result in
plastic cracking. GRANDFLOR CFT requires curing in
accordance with good concrete practice. As soon as troweling
has been completed apply GRANDCURE PME15 to the finished
surface by spray or soft brush.
 Packaging GRANDFLOR CFT is available in 25 kg PE bag.

Estimating Data A 25 kg bag of GRANDFLOR CFT mixed with 4.5 liters of water
yields 13.0 liters (0.0130m3)

Storage GRANDFLOR CFT has a shelf life of 1 year if maintained in dry

storage conditions in unopened bags.

Health and Safety Gloves, goggles and dust mask should be worn. Any splashes
to the skin should be washed thoroughly after handling.

Avoid eye and unnecessary skin contact, as the product is

alkaline.
Industrial Flooring

In case of eye contact, flush with plenty of clean water and seek
medical attention.

Fire GRANDFLOR CFT is non-flammable.
