Bamboos are a plant that can grow in tropical and subtropical climates. In fact, bamboos
are the largest grass and even can diversify into a forest. There's a lot of interesting fact about
bamboos, one of them is the sound of bamboos.

Bamboos are a plant that can grow in tropical and subtropical climates.
In fact, bamboos are the largest grass and even can diversify into a
forest. There's a lot of interesting fact about bamboos, one of them is
the sound of bamboos. Bamboo forest can produce sound in the
presence of wind that penetrates the bamboos. This sounds create a
melody that is relaxing. 

With the sound that bamboo can produce, bamboo is used as a

material for several musical instruments. Some of them are flute and
angklung. The sound of angklung created from the bumping bamboos
when the angklung is shaken. While the sound of flute is produced from
 the air that's vibrating when the flute is blown.

Indonesia have a traditional communication device made from bamboo

called kentongan. Kentongan is used as an alarm signal, long-distance
communication signal, and danger signal. Kentongan is equipped with a
bat to hit the center of kentongan to produce sound.

There's also another device made from bamboo called "Shishi-Odoshi".

Shishi-odoshi is a unique Japanese water fountain that was originally
used as a scarecrow for some wild animal to protect the agriculture.
The bamboo tube has an unbalanced center of gravity so that the open
end is always facing upward. Once it’s filled with water, the center of
gravity changes and the shishi-odoshi spills over, kind of like one of
those toy drinking birds. The resulting sound of the weighted end
hitting the stone or hard surface startles any skittish herbivores in the
area. In this era, shishi-odoshi can be used in a garden as a decorative
ornament.

Conclusion From the text above, I can conclude that bamboos can create
sounds that is functional. The sound of bamboo can be used as music

The process of making video:

I put several pictures and videos which I took using my own camera and also from YouTube and
Pinterest. I mixed both to make it more clear and interesting. I got good experience in designing
like a YouTube content.
