Estimation Process– Depot Repair

1. Select appropriate responsibility (Ex. ‘EMR CSA Level1 MSS USA’).

2. Navigate to Service→Repair Orders

The Service order related to the Service Request number will populate
a. Enter the Service Request number
b. Click “Find” then in Results field Customer details will populate
c. Click “Ok”

3. Click on “Estimate” Tab

Click on Billing Category and select the following details

a. Select Expense/Material/Labor billing category
b. Enter the billing item
c. Enter the Qty (price can be overridden and other fields gets auto populated
based on the setups)
d. Click on Save Estimate

4. To Update Notes Click on “Estimate Notes”

5. Click on Type > LOV Select Type of “MSS CSD ESTIMATE”

6. Update the notes (Free text field)

7. Click “Save”

8. Updating additional information in DFF, Click on Estimate header DFF

9. Enter the context value DMC_USA_OU if it is not defaulted/auto populated.

10. Click OK and Save

11. For Generating EMR Repair Estimate Report, Go to Tools menu and Click
View > Request.

12. Click on Submit a New Request

13. Enter EMR Repair Estimate Report in the name section and tab out and
Enter the parameters as below
a. SR Number
b. Terms & Conditions
c. Click OK and Submit Button

14. View Report Output, Go to View > Request > Click on Find button

a. Click on Report Name and ensure report is completed normally.

b. Click View output.

15. Estimate sent to Customer and the status will change to “Accepted” and
Estimate status shows “Approved”.
