 El005 Data logger module, the heart of the system

EnviroMon Data logging system with SiteLog software is a very advanced industrial modular
system, yet it is very easy to install, use, maintain and upgrade, it starts from a small
system which can monitor and log temperature and humidity in just one server room, print
trends and tabular historical sensors reading and alarms data, send SMS, e-mail of Alarms

expanded to a huge universal monitoring system to monitor from your location hundreds of
remote warehouses and server rooms located anywhere in the world, the system has been
used in Middle east countries since 2004, with hardly any problem reported, despite of the
hot, dusty and humid environment, it complies with CFR21 part 11, it has been sold
worldwide for Pharmaceutical and IT industries, installed in small and large drugs
Warehouses and server rooms to monitor temperature, humidity, doors, fire, motion
detectors, water leak, three phase current, voltage and fuel level, it is modular system, you
only purchase the El005 data logger module and the modules which suites your sensors, the
sensors are connected to converter modules, all converters modules are connected to the
data logger using 2 pairs of CAT 5 Network cable which can be extended up to 1Km long in
each site, 1 pair curry RS485 communication the other pair carries the power for the
modules which is supplied by the datalogger, you only need one power point for the data
logger Module, the data logger is linked to your server via LAN/WAN/GPRS/3G/4G or via
internet, if you loss your network connection or internet you get SMS alarm, this alarm is
useful because the system will be the first system to inform you about your network or
internet failure on any remote site, when you run the EnviroMon SiteLog software on your
server, it will identify the fitted modules and sensors in each site automatically, you just
simply enter the sensor location name and click program to configure the system first time
and start monitoring and logging.

EL005 Data loggers Module on each site measure locally sensors value every few seconds,
and stores the reading according to the sampling rate (1- 240 minutes) on its memory,
when you switch the server at your company the data automatically will be uploaded you
can print Tabulated and trend reports for any historical period in PDF and excel format,
generate report of data and alarms, or you can make daily/monthly schedule e-mail to be
sent to unlimited e-mail, data can also be accessed via webpage to enable your staff
worldwide to access their relevant data, with a username and a password, each EL005 data
logger module connects to a maximum of 10 sensor modules to read up to 40 sensors,

You have a full control over your system from your company server without having to go
through a third party server you can change the setting of any data logger at any site from
your company server.

You can change the e-mails and Mobile numbers which receives the SMS from your location,
SiteLog software allows you to monitor sites through country map and floor plan, were you
can drag and drop sensor on the floor plan and drag and drop site on map to make
identification of the alarms source easy, IP cameras and other IP devices installed one any
site can be accessed live easily just by a simple click which create simple alarms
management for a large network of sensors.

Each EL005 logger on any site has internal re-chargeable batteries. These batteries are kept
topped up whilst mains power is available, and will keep the system running for up to 72
hours during a mains power failure.

EL001 3-Channel temperature module

EL015 Temperature sensor

The three channels on the EL001 can measure any mix of temperature or switch position.
The following sensors are available, all have 5 meter leads for connecting to the converter.

 EL029 Switch position / door switch sensor/ water leak detector The switch
module is commonly used to monitor whether a door is open or closed. In normal
use a (supplied) magnet is attached to the door to be monitored and the EL029 to
the door frame. Alternatively an external micro switch can be wired in. The display
on the logger reports either 'Open' or 'Closed', you can check the status of other
devices the Open/Clouse status cane be changed to any status like Dry/wet, On/Off
 EL015 Temperature sensor The EL015 is a precision resistive sensor suitable for
measuring temperature from -30°C to +70°C. Unless the temperature you need to
measure is outside this range this sensor represents the best choice for measuring
temperature.

Note: the EL001 is not waterproof.

EL040 Current .1A to 400A current module

With the present drive towards energy efficiency the EL040 will find uses in industry.
Currents can be monitored enabling more accurate costing to be placed on different tasks
and find out exactly where a high percentage of current consumption is being made. Armed
with this information decisions can then be made on methods of reducing or eliminating this
in-efficiency, which sometimes caused by old or faulty equipment hence identifying them
and replacing them saves money.

The EL040 enables an EnviroMon network to monitor three Phase AC current signals. AC
current clamps or current transformers are used to provide an input to the EL040. The
EnviroMon can then be used to monitor current consumption, UPS input and output to
produce alarm conditions when consumption rises above or falls below preset limits.

 TA011 300 Amp AC Current Clamp

Not being powered by batteries the TA011 is ideally suited to applications where current
consumption is being monitored over long periods of time.

Removing the need to check the condition of the batteries regularly, makes the TA011
ideally suited for use with the EL040 current monitor when monitoring current consumption
over months or even years.

EL006 Remote Alarm

The 65 dB EL006 remote alarm is useful when the room where the logger is located is not
often occupied. One or more remote alarms can be connected at any place along the
network where staff would be able to hear the audible alarm.

EnviroMon can measure humidity/temperature using the EL026 converter and EL030

EL041 four channel thermocouple Module

The 4 channel EL041 thermocouple converter is designed to measure a wide range of
temperatures with any thermocouple that uses a miniature size thermocouple connector.

Featuring built-in cold junction compensation (CJC), the EL041 has an effective temperature
range of -270 to 1820°C (The actual temperature range depends on the thermocouple being
used.)

In addition to temperature measurement, the cold junction compensation can be switched

off to enable the EL041 to measure ±60mV signals.

Note: The EL041 is designed to work only with the EL005 logger.

The EL037 has 4 input channels when used with the EL005 logger (3 channels are available
when used with the EL008), each channel can be be configured independently (using
jumpers) to measure ±2.5 V, ±10 V or 4-20 mA. It can also route an external power supply
(perhaps 12 V or 24 V, depending on the requirements of the input devices) to each of the
input devices. Connections to the input channels are via screw terminals.

EL042 Alarm and Relay Unit

The EL042 is an alarm and relay unit for the EnviroMon data logging system. When the
EL042 detects an alarm condition, it can activate its built-in sounder, send a message by
activating an external telephone dialler, or trigger up to three user-supplied alarm devices
connected to its opto-isolated outputs.

The EL042 can be powered from the EnviroMon network or an external 12 volt power supply.
The unit includes a rechargeable backup battery that allows the EL042 to maintain its alarm
outputs for several hours in the event of a power failure.

Using the EL042 you can enable the “deviation alarm” feature in the EnviroMon software.
With this advanced feature you can set up the EnviroMon system to monitor a number of
channels as a group. Your EL042 can then activate an alarm if any channel differs from the
group average, or from any other channel in the group, or from the median of the group, by
more than a specified amount. You can even define nested groups of
