SOR Number CGGCINTL-XXXX Raised By ACWA POWER Sirdarya Date 12-March-2022 Location/Area/Tag # Batching Plant M/s: EPC CGGC ENERGY CHINA/GOLDY Discipline HSSE – Hygiene Rules EPC Contractor MOUNT Positive Negative As per the results of inspection I have prepared this report (SOR) to verify the EPC Contractor's compliance with terms and conditions of Contract, as well as requirements of Uzbekistan legislation and Contractor's procedures in HSSE area. During the inspection was identified the following (Safety Observation & Violation Details):
1. Improper food storage;
2. Canteen dish and utensils washing rules and Dish disinfection guidelines are not posted in the dish washing shop. No disinfection solutions are available. 3. Occupational safety instructions for safe operation of electrical kitchen equipment have not been posted in a visible place. 4. Goods vicinity requirements are not followed when storing raw and ready-to-eat products in Description refrigerating (deep-freeze) cabinets. 5. There is no schedule for overall cleaning of the canteen's food unit. 6. The canteen refrigeration equipment, kitchenware (saucepans, buckets, etc.) has no marking. 7. Warning signage ‘DANGER’ and the operating voltage of the equipment was not displayed at distribution board. 8. Kitchen staffs did not receive induction and workplace special training. Workers have no personal medical-book (hygiene training and certification). There is no rest and dressing room for kitchen staff. Kitchen staffs are not following sanitary-hygienic rules. 9. The canteen refrigeration equipment, kitchenware (saucepans, buckets, cutting boards etc.) has no marking (colour code). 10. Kitchen staff don’t wear special clothes (uniforms): hair cover, cover-slut, gloves, slippers.
Hazard & Consequences:
Disciplinary Hazard. Lack of knowledge and information (Regulatory, Company policies, & working procedures), un competent workers, and development of negative culture. Potential hazards. Improper food storage can lead to several problems, including bacteria and mold growth; Storing potentially hazardous foods above ready-to-eat foods may cause cross contamination - one of the highest and most easily preventable causes of food poisoning; Biological hazards due to poor personal hygiene can cause health problems such as infections and diseases.
Control measures immediate/longer term action:
Food products should be stored as per Sanitary Rules and Regulations; Following good hygiene practices; Provide uniforms (aprons hair cover, cover-slut, gloves, slippers); Training to employees and give them information about personal hygiene.
