I a m delighted a n d honored to w e l c o m e you to TAFTA's Second C ohort Training, where you will b e
refined in the coming weeks with proven a n d credible knowledge, skills, a n d abilities to help you launch
your career in Nigeria's creative industry. This training is brought to you by Terra Kulture in
collaboration with Mastercard Foundation.

Our objectives at TAFTA are as follows;

To e d u c a t e young peopl e wi th rel evant up-to-d a t e techni cal a n d practi c a l skills for t h e c r e a t i v e
industry.
To help students optimize their entrepreneurial capacity and secure sustainable employment.
To foster sustainable growth and innovation in the emerging creative industry of Nigeria.

Over ten thousand (10,000) students from Lagos, Ogun a n d Kano, applied for this program. Only
five thousand (5,000) are for this cohort. Shortlisting criteria were b a s e d on age, gender, location a n d
basic computer literacy. I will be glad if you make the most of this opportunity.

and apply. More information will be communicated on this as we move along.
Training centers are set up for students who prefer to study there. We made
this provision for a few students who might not have the necessary tools for
study.

When you enroll as a student with TAFTA on our site for related courses, as part of the enrolling process, we collect
some of your personal data, which includes, name, contacts, age, date of birth, nature of support, and address.
Such data will be securely shared to our partner (Mastercard Foundation) for the purposes of data verification and
evaluation studies. You will not be rewarded or penalized in any way for your consent or non-consent to this data
sharing request.

We will in turn submit your anonymized data to Impact Partner Organizations, who will conduct the data verifica-
tion and evaluation on behalf of the Foundation.

If you are ultimately sampled for such activities, your personal data will be shared to the Impact Partner Organiza-
tions who in turn will seek your consent for the specific activity i.e. data verification or evaluation studies. You will
not be rewarded or penalized in any way for your consent or non-consent to participating in any of the activities.
