Hi! My name is Katie.

I am 11 years old and

I’m in 4th grade.
I’m going to tell you about my favorite
things. My favorite place is my bedroom. I
have all the things I love in my bedroom.
I love to come home from school and sit in
my big, cosy chair. It is black with big, green
leaves and white and yellow flowers. I also
have a big, red, heart-shaped pillow. It is a
wonderful chair to sit and read a good book
in. My cat likes my chair too! Next to my
chair I have a little table with an old lace
tablecloth.
My mom makes me a big pot of tea that I
can drink in my bedroom. Behind my cosy
chair I have a tall reading lamp. This is my
most favorite place in the whole world!

Flowers are also my favorite things. I love

flowers, but sunflowers are really nice. They
are big and yellow. The birds outside my
window love to eat sunflower seeds. As you
can tell, I love to read books. I like all kinds of
books too. I have a shelf with books about
animals and dragons, Harry Potter, and
fairies and monsters!
I love fantasy books and history books too.
One day I want to travel and see the whole
world!
