-I Have a Dream

Martin Luther King Jr. August 28, 1963

The rewritten version , by Chanda C John

I say to you today, my friends, even though we face the sorrow of today and tomorrow, I still
have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the soil of african minds that births art and
creativity.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its worth " i
have a dream that this great nation will be driven by coperation and harmony.

I have a dream that one day the art and poetry that remians unexpressed within us will fully flow
without end, that our values and cultures will be an art that will be expressed and other regions
will learn from

I have a dream that my country will one day have actors wining the oscar awards and the TV
awrads.
I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day in zambia art will be fully embraced and appricated , that those boys
and girls whose dreams are to be on tv o showcase art and life through their given talent will
have a bigger and better platfrom , I have a dream today.

I have a dream today that every limit , boundary and berriccade will be broken and will errode so
that art comes out on top and prominment, i have a dream that the silenced hopes of the talents
of the youths willl be wakend and their voices will roar and roar to the open skies above us ,

I have a dream that the winds of elavtion and glory will sweep us to the mountain tops of
accomplishments and achivements.

With this faith will come new strentgh , new concepts , new hope and a clear vision to do better
and see the world from an art perspective.
And one day all artists will be able to sing in one voice and one rythem as trumph will be the
badge on our lips.
And if zambia is to be a great nation in art and drama this must become true. So let art ring
from the prodigious victoria falls . Let art ring from the mighty black mountains in copperbelt
Let art ring from the small road in mansa and mazabuka where a small boy who dreams lives.

Let art ring from every creative soul who wishes to be on the stage to perform , let it ring from
every script writer who has a pille of unfinished and unproduced work, let it ring let it ring

When we let art ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state
and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all artists , young and , J will be able to
join hands and sing in the words of harmony and grace "Free at last! Free at last! Thank God
almighty, that art is free from its bondege.
