1.Disease is a broad term that refers to any abnormal condition or disorder that affects the normal
functioning of the body or mind.

2.Illness can be discovered in a variety of ways, depending on the type of illness and the symptoms it
produces. Some illnesses are discovered through routine medical check-ups, while others may be
diagnosed based on symptoms reported by the patient. Medical tests, such as blood tests, imaging
scans, and biopsies, may also be used to help diagnose illness.

3.Infectious diseases are illnesses caused by microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, or
parasites.

4.There is no vaccine against the common cold, which is caused by a group of viruses known as
rhinoviruses.

5.Non-communicable diseases are illnesses that are not caused by infectious agents and cannot be
spread from person to person.

6.Non-communicable diseases are often caused by a combination of genetic and environmental


factors, as well as lifestyle choices such as diet and exercise.
