CTQ 1

Write a one-page essay about someone you encounter frequently (such as a dorm-mate) or some-

one know well. (Note: do not use their real name!)  Briefly answer (approximately 1 paragraph

for each bullet point) the following:

1. How do they interact with the physical environment (the outside word)? Are they neat,

messy, well-dressed, casual...?

2. How do they interact with their social environment (how he/she interacts with others)? Are

they approachable, quiet, loud, small, active...?

3. What do you guess is their intrapsychic environments (how he/she thinks about themselves)?

Do they talk about themselves - and if so, what do they say about themselves? Or maybe they

avoid talking about themselves. Is it positive or negative? Or, do they not talk about them-

selves at all - are they a little mysterious?

Try not to think too much about this - I want your impressions and thoughts without much

effort.

Venicia: A truly Bulgarian friend

Everyone needs friends in their life—they're there for you when you need them, and you

can share your joys and sorrows with them. They are an essential aspect of everyone's existence.

I have a lot of friends, but Venicia is my best and most loyal buddy. She is not only my student

but also my companion in crime, my dance partner, my advisor, my writing tutor, and my

favorite Bulgarian female. She is one of the few genuine friends I am blessed to have. Due to her

unique social context, it is tough to describe her in just a few words.

First of all, my best friend, Venicia and I have been friends for the past three years. She

maintains close ties to the outside world. She is unlike the other wealthy Bulgarian females since

she prefers to dress casually. Her preferred hairstyles include straight, wavy, or in a ponytail.

Violet, pink, and olive green are her three favorite colors to wear.

Secondly, Venicia doesn't interact with many of her friends in social situations very

much. She is honest, timid, pleasant, active, and calm. She is also a terrific listener. For instance,

she listens to me when I tell her stories by looking at me. She also smiles at me politely on me

that makes me absolutely delighted when I meet her. It is really amazing.

She also thinks of herself as the smartest, prettiest, strongest, and most attractive college

girl. For example, she easily understands the lessons when he reads or studies. She is my good

example forever. Her reputation on campus is improved since she shuns self-promotion. I

initially felt she was enigmatic, but as adoption progressed, I started to realize how significant

and truly meaningful our bond is. She always cares for me and she is very useful for me.

To summarize, there are countless ways that I may express my gratitude for my genuine

Bulgarian friend. Although she may not have many friends, the fact that she has good

relationships with a select few people promises well for her future. I really like her.
