Hello all! Today we are

interviewing one of the 4 producers
of the film opener, Kitchen
Kretins. Introducing Sekai
Griffiths-Ferguson!

Today she will be giving us a brief
rundown of the tips and tricks she
used in the film. The hardware used
along with editing platforms.

Yes! For Kitchen Kretins, it was a
tedious process but not as
difficult as you may think.

INTERVIEWER
Okay, we will get started! First
off, what hardware did you use to
film Kitchen Kretins?
SEKAI GRIFFITHS-FERGUSON
The one and only device used to
record was an iPhone 13. That one
little piece of technology allowed
us to give you all an entire film
opener and we will continue to film
with it. It is lightweight and easy
to manage, also very mobile. We
were able to record smoothly, and
it easily fit on

Our tripod. This was the best way
for us to film because it was easy
to maneuver and learn the functions
of.

INTERVIEWER
Wow! That is amazing that you could
do that on an iPhone. SO, what was
the editing software used for this
film?

SEKAI GRIFFITHS-FERGUSON
We used a platform called iMovie...
also on the iPhone or any Apple
device. We used it on the iPhone
and MacBook Pro. The software is
straight forward and was a great
tool for us since we were not
experienced in the field of editing
before the production of Kitchen
Kretins. When it came to adding
music and aligning it to the film
and cutting shots and adding
filters and the typography, it was
easy. Transitions between shots
were also simple because we got to
pick which transition, we wanted
between each cut. This process was
not the shortest, but it was
incredibly fun and simple for the
producers and me.
